Set up to run 5L, 20 oz, 24 oz and 1L bundles in dual and single lane configurations. Designed for registered film. Allen-Bradley SLC 5/03 processor with 1305 and Powerflex VFDs. Overall machine dimensions are approximately 56'5" long x 6' wide. Conveyor elevation is 48". Capable of running packs with total length between 5 3/4" and 9 3/4", total width 11 1/2" to 18" and height from 6 7/8" to 10 3/8". Originally configured to run 1/2 liter and 20 oz water bottles in dual lanes of 4 and 6 packs and single lane of 8 packs and 1 liter bottles in single lane of 12 packs. Sequence of operation: The product is flood fed into the receiving conveyor and directed into the required number of lanes. The 2x2 and 2x3 products are bundled into 2 streams and the 2x4 and 3x4 into 1 stream. The lane divided product is then grouped in the cassette area for delivery to the overhead sweep. The overhead sweep then delivers the lanes of grouped product to the wrapping section. Film from a single roll has been automatically cut and sliced to the correct length and width, then is conveyed by servo-controlled vacuum belts to arrive and be positioned under the product as it arrives at the wrapping mechanism, a rotating wand which travels in an oval path wrapping the film around the product and overlapping the opposite end which has been held in position under the product. Following the wrapping section, the product is conveyed through the shrink tunnel where the film is tightly shrunk. The tightly shrunk packages will be conveyed on an extended cooling conveyor for approximately 15 seconds (17'6") before being transferred to the customer's conveyor. Reported to be in very good condition.
