AEK’s reconditioning shops are capable of taking machinery that may need some mechanical or electrical upgrades and turn them into completely functional reconditioned units. A complete reconditioning facility is located at our headquarters in Bensenville IL.
AEK’s buying standards are so high that most of our equipment is sold on an “as is” basis with our two week right of return privilege. In those cases where machines may need some upgrades, change parts or repairs, we can provide the following testing services for a nominal charge:
- Test running equipment mechanically under power.
- Retooled and set to your product size.
- Electrical panel upgrades.
- Integrate complete lines or individual machines.
- Put machines into Good Working Condition.
For our customers who wish to have their equipment reconditioned and do not have the time or the resources to oversee the project themselves, we can provide that service. AEK equipment provides complete reconditioning services in our 40,000 sq. ft. shop. AEK is capable of completely rebuilding most types of packaging equipment. In addition we can provide new tooling and PLC control systems customized to your packaging equipment requirements.
